The Walsh Wahoos Swim Team traveled to Fort Worth to compete in the Ridglea Pool Association Meet on June 14. They brought home a total of 24 medals (14 girls, 10 boys), including eight gold (five boys, three girls).
Leading the Wahoos were Patrick Apple (8-Under Boys age group) Elliot Hamilton (15-17 Boys) and Virginia (Women 40-Over) with two gold medals each. Sky Austin (8-Under Girls) and Nick Michels (25-39 Men) each won a gold medal as well.
Walsh is competing in Mineral Wells, along with the Weatherford Swim Team, on Saturday, June 28. They will join all Texas Amateur Athletic Federation area teams in the TAAF Region IV Meet in Arlington July 12-13 to determine who advances to State Games of Texas in Bryan/College Station July 31-Aug. 3.
