The Weatherford Wild competed in their second meet of the 2024 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation summer season in Flower Mound recently. The team brought home 24 gold medals (13 females, 11 males), along with 15 silver (8 females, 7 males) and eight bronze (5 females, 3 males).
Leading all performers with three medals each were Mackenzie Oligschlaeger (Girls 13-14), Brooklelyn Nowakowski (Women 18-24) and Harrison Gentry (Boys 9-10). Winning two gold medals were Chloe Brumfield (Girls 9-10), Blair Mezger (Girls 11-12), Corbin Lane (Boys 13-14) and Kody Burlison (Boys 13-14).
