During each of the Fort Worth Stock Show's 23 rodeo performances, 20 students compete to catch one of 10 calves for the opportunity to earn a $500 heifer purchase certificate. Students who successfully complete the Calf Scramble and exhibit their heifer at the 2027 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo are then eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $500 to $16,000.
The following students were awarded a $500 Calf Scramble purchase certificate at the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo:

Hamilton Bailey, a member of Aledo FFA from Benbrook
Austin Bierwirth, a member of Aledo FFA from Willow Park
Kaleigh Calhoun, a member of Aledo FFA from Aledo
