Hands moved carefully, selecting leaves and taping them around jars. Some residents layered the leaves in patterns, others let the shapes and colors decide the design. By the end of the session, each jar had taken on its own character — a small celebration of fall, created by thoughtful attention and collaboration.
Traci Werne, Executive Director of West Fork at Weatherford, commented, “Watching residents pick up each leaf and build their jars was really something. Everyone got so focused, and it was fun to see their ideas take shape as they worked together.”
The craft activity offered residents a chance to explore textures and colors while interacting with the Hopestone Hospice team.
