Annual Candlelight Tour set Dec. 13

This native rock home was one of the two built in the vicinity by Hollis Abner King before 1920.

This house built in 1905 by James Wilson, an example of a bungalow, will be one stop on the annual Candlelight Tour of Homes.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.parkercountyheritagesociety.com or at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce now.

Beginning December 2nd, tickets can also be purchased or picked up at the Doss Heritage Center, 1400 Texas Dr. in Weatherford.

Tickets are $20 for Adults and $12 for children 12 and under. Tickets will not be available at the homes.

There are five unique historic homes on the tour this year, as well as All Saints Anglican Church and the Mount Pleasant School. Chandor Gardens and the Doss Heritage Center will also be open and included in the tour.
