Summer Blast set for June 6

The City of Aledo will host its popular Summer Blast from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Aledo Commons Park (also known as “the circle”).

The family-friendly evening will feature food, music and fireworks in the heart of downtown Aledo. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a high-energy night celebrating the end of school and the start of summer.

This year’s live music features headliners Graceland Ninjaz, delivering a dynamic show packed with mashups of greatest hits spanning five decades of rock and roll, dance, hip hop and soul. Opening up is local favorite and former American Idol contestant Cate Gartner.

There will be a kids zone, a variety of food trucks, beverages for all ages, and shopping with local vendors, all leading up to a fireworks finale to close out the evening.
