The Aledo Independent School District earned an “A” for its “exemplary performance” during the 2025-26 school year by the Texas Education Agency.
The performance was calculated using a “design [that] reflects a commitment to recognizing high student achievement and the impact of highly effective educators while maintaining focus on the students most in need,” according to the TEA report.
Aledo ISD’s vision of “growing greatness through exceptional experiences empowering learners for life” is demonstrated through the report's rising grades for the past five years. Beginning with a “what-if” score of 89 in 2021-22, there has been an incline up to now – bringing the district to an A for the last four years.
This year's overall rating of 92 reflects the reality the district is “encouraging high academic achievement and/or appropriate academic growth for almost all students,” according to the report. “Most students will be prepared for eventual success in college, a career, or the military."
