Baylor Scott & White Health this week marked a major milestone for Parker County, breaking ground on a new hospital in Willow Park designed to bring high quality, timely care closer to home for residents in this growing community.

The 19,000 square foot fully licensed hospital will feature eight inpatient beds, eight emergency department beds, and advanced imaging capabilities. It is designed to care for patients facing urgent and emergent medical needs, while also supporting primary care services—all in one convenient location.

“This groundbreaking represents our commitment to meeting communities where they are,” said Dr. Rob Watson, chief clinical operations officer with Baylor Scott & White. “As Willow Park and Parker County continue to grow, it’s important that families have access to emergency services and inpatient care close to home.”

Scheduled to open in January 2027, the new hospital reflects Baylor Scott & White Health’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to care across North Texas, especially in areas where residents often must travel long distances for care. Once complete, the facility will help ensure faster access to care when minutes matter most.
